News & Events

Better safe than sorry

Just like everybody else, we're trying our best to live and work safely alongside COVID-19. Regrettably, no events are taking place at present as we do our utmost to restrict the spread of the virus.

Rest assured that we'll find a way to meet some of our loyal Kinnegar drinkers in person once again.

Keep safe.

We're delighted to continue our support of the Donegal Hospice

In April this year we introduced our new lager, DL, to the market. As a good Donegal lager with a very wide appeal, we thought we should harness DL's customer-power for the benefit of a  worthy Donegal cause. Earmarking €5 from every case from the first batch sold, in June we were proud to donate €1490 to the charity.

Production has been regular and our customers have been playing their part like pros. We're now on batch six. We've committed to continuing our support, albeit at a more modest rate of €1 per case. We look forward to doing the maths again soon and making another sizeable contribution donation to the cause.

Confined to barracks

No festivals, no events, no open days, no beer tasting sessions, not a whole lot of fun...

Kinnegar will be back on the road as soon as we've vanquished the virus.

Brewery Tours

Our brewery tours offer visitors a complete overview of the brewing process. We begin in the malt loft and continue through the brew house, fermentation, the conditioning cellar, and finally to packaging. By the end of the journey you will understand what gives your favourite Kinnegar beer style its particular colour, flavour and aroma.

From adults to children, and beer enthusiasts to their reluctant partners, we guarantee you will find this a memorable and highly enjoyable experience!

In summer, tours generally take place on Thursday evenings at 5pm, and on occasional Saturdays.

Throughout the rest of the year tours take place subject to demand on Thursdays.

Additional tours are scheduled around long weekends and holiday periods.
