Every year we shut the brewery down for "Week 37", the second week in September. This gives everybody a chance to catch their breath after a very busy summer season. It also gives Gavin, our indispensable maintenance engineer, a chance to get his hands on all our equipment when it's not in constant motion. New equipment gets installed and commissioned and the sails are trimmed for the autumn and winter seasons.
